Are you exhausted?

Me too apparently!  Last night I went into CVS after the gym.  I picked up a few things, batteries, a birthday card, extra tights…  Well, when I got in my car, the package of tights fell onto my center console.  I had them tucked in my arm, and didn’t pay for them, I paid for everything out and walked right out.  I had to run back into the store,  in my true, definitely not dramatic fashion. **place exaggerated wink emoji here ** Needless to say, first week at a new job is exhausting.  If you can’t get enough sleep, try to get better sleep.  Here are a few links to get you started:

Skip day

After skiing two days over the weekend, followed by a HIIT and step class after work, it hurts to sit stand and walk. So today I took an off day from the gym.  I still got some steps in at Target while I picked up cleaning supplies.  I also took time when I got home to do a long stretch, including a few yoga poses.  If you take a day off, try to do a long stretch or take a walk!

While I was at work today, I had pork loin cooking low and slow in the crock pot.  And I served it with rolls and coleslaw.   Yummy!

Fitness Friday

Brewed while making breakfast because I’m running a little late this morning 

Here is a super fast, full body workout that requires no equipment and very little space.  I do this at the gym and run a few warm up laps, stretch, run a few laps at 1/2 way, and then cool down laps and stretch, and it takes about a 1/2 hour.  If you just do what’s below it could be lone in under 20 minutes, and everyone has 20 minutes!  Oh! And Happy Friday!

100 Workout

100 Jumping Jacks

90 Crunches

80 Lunges (40 each side)

70 Squats

60 second Plank

50 Jumping jacks

40 Oblique crunches

30 High knees

20 Leg raises

10 Pushups
